Nowadays it’s becoming more common that multibeam seabed imagery, aka backscatter, is a deliverable alongside bathymetry. Though multibeam seabed imagery has been a standard feature with modern multibeam systems for quite some time, there are some key differences in how you configure systems, plan and execute surveys and also how you process the data.
